Dark matter is constrained from more directions than almost any other problem in physics, yet the communities behind these probes rarely meet. This one-week meeting brings together experts in dark matter and galaxy formation to address questions where the two fields are deeply entangled. We will be having interesting conversations by the beautiful Mediterranean of Tunisia, while also witnessing the total solar eclipse of August 2, 2027.

Topics

  • Dwarf galaxies
  • Stellar streams and halo substructure
  • Strong lensing
  • Direct and indirect detection experiments
  • Milky Way halo shape, density, and accretion history
  • Cosmological simulations
  • Wide-field surveys
  • Machine learning: simulation-based inference, emulation, and anomaly detection, including their limitations
